EU funds for culture — and why the figures do not sum

Public money for culture outside procurement arrives from several different registers on different bases: a contract value from ИСУН, a farm subsidy from ДФЗ, a partner's published budget from Interreg. This page puts them side by side — and says, for each, where it comes from and what it does NOT cover.

What you'll find

  • ИСУН by EIK — an exact match against the sector register. Reproducible, and almost — but not quite — a subset of the by-name row: the page says how many listed projects carry no culture word in their name.
  • ИСУН by name — a floor with a fuzzy edge; mostly читалища, and mostly one programme (the RRF).
  • Interreg — thematic — a partner's published budget, not a contract value, reached through the operation's theme.
  • ДФЗ — читалища — no state cultural institution receives a farm subsidy. Culture's presence here is читалища.
  • Follow the money — the RRF code links a grant to the procurement it paid for.
