Concentration of farm subsidies

Farm support is not shared evenly: a small group of holdings receives a disproportionate share. Here is how much — by tier (top 10, 11-100, 101-1000, the rest) and as a Lorenz curve.

The denominator is the legal-entity money

Every share on the page is out of what was paid to companies, not out of the total. The difference matters: across the whole period the same numerator over all money paid is about 7.5% rather than 12.6% for the top 100 — and the ratio differs year by year, which is why the page computes it for the selected period. Payments with no ЕИК cannot be attributed to a recipient, so concentration over them is unmeasurable — see how much that is.
