The other pages here ask what the money was. This one asks something different: did the year go the way the State Budget Law said it would. For each of the five lines you see the plan, the outturn and the gap between them.

One identity holds the page together

revenue − expenditure − EU contribution = balance. For 2024: 22,263,692,630 − 24,775,124,952 − 814,052,657 = −3,325,484,979 euro. Shown separately, without the identity, the four figures look unrelated.

Two things that are easily misread

• Financing is the balance with its sign flipped, not a second independent quantity. The two agree to within a few thousand euro in every year of the corpus — a rounding residue.
• The EU contribution is its own line. Folded into expenditure the identity still closes — but expenditure then becomes a number the Ministry of Finance publishes nowhere.

A year that has not been legislated has no plan

A year running on an interim budget law has no adopted plan on any line. The page shows the projection rather than an empty column, and labels it as a projection.
