The budget on one page

This page shows the entire state budget at once — a flow diagram carrying the money from revenue through the budget to expenditure, and beneath it the breakdowns that explain it.

The flow and its five branches

The diagram traces the money from source to spending. Five of its branches open up further: revenue by type on the left, and on the right personnel costs, capital expenditure, transfers to municipalities and the social-security funds.

What else is here

  • Execution and deviations — how the year is running against the act, and which spending units deviate most.
  • Spending units and functions — who spends and on what, including by functional classification.
  • The budget journey — the law, the reports and the audit for each year.

This is the deep dive, not the front door. If you are after one figure, start from the state budget — every topic has its own page there and loads far faster. See also explore the budget and the methodology.
